+gabo Yes, they are. If you are going to make a tv show based on a comic or book, di it correctly and go by that. Don't do something absolutely NOTHING like the comic and slap it's name on it. Just name it something else and go on with your show. True fans of the comics are obviously going to be dissapointed because we were looking foward to seeing our fave comic/characters come to life. Honestly, if they stuck to the comics page-by-page then it would be boring lol. I was and still am a huge fan of the comics but to see the comics twisted into a murder mystery is amazing. They want a long-running show, not a teeny-pop comedy.

The idea is to take the general setting and characters from the comics but twist it into something unexpected. Everyone would expect the show to be a dramedy but the mystery aspect to the creation is fun and honestly, will keep people watching and wanting more. I think the adaptation is brilliant.
