This song is taken from the split EP BESTIA by IGNEA and ERSEDU.
Magura is the Ukrainian valkyrie, the winged, warlike, cloud maiden, the daughter of the Thunderer Perun. With her wings, she overshadows the brave soldiers fallen on the battlefield, touches their lips, and gives them the living water to drink from a golden cup. This is how these soldiers end up in Vyriy, the heavenly palace for eternal life. In Magura’s Last Kiss, Magura is fed up with wars and says that ‘peace can be bold and knightly’. To end all fightings, she kisses herself and goes to Vyriy.

Haunting melodies here. I'm hearing a little Black Metal in the verse. Then it melts away into some of the most beautiful vocals I have ever heard. Great song, specially for the meaning. I like the part when one person drops the hammer and later another one drops the sickle, then the scythe also is dropped (symbol of death) It is a sing of renunciation to communism. I love it. I think that would be also a renounce to Russian legacy. Ukraine wants to be more than the cradle of Russian civilization; it wants to be its own nation, with its own identity. Marxism-Leninism is gone, but the idea of Third Rome is still on the soul of Russia, and we ha e to bury it as well.

It is hard to believe, but actually "russians" are not russians or even slavs. they are descendants of the Golden horde, who seized foreign territory, language and culture, staged genocide for hundreds of years, and now want to destroy the national identity. their real name is "moscovites" or "moscovians", to be clear.

The pandemic has put me behind on all my bills and I'm still trying to catch up. I know that sounds insignificant compared to the hardships that your country is going through right now. All I can say is stay strong. This is a quote from one of my favorite Clint Eastwood movies and lines it's, adapt and overcome. And another favorite quote of mine from a Clint Eastwood movie is endeavor to persevere.
