I'm sorry but when a console doesn't have a Madden, CoD or GTA on it, as well as hundreds of 3rd party titles, it is NO WAY the greatest console. Guaranteed the entire game scoop cast plays the switch as a second console and plays PC, PS5 or Series X as their main gaming console and was doing the same in 2017-2020 with PS4 and XBO.

There is a simple reason why accessory developers can talk about the Nintendo switch too, and Nintendo won’t bother them about it. It’s because Nintendo made an agreement with these companies to start manufacturing accessories by a certain date. When that date was put into place, these businesses began to base their future anticipated profits Off of what Nintendo had said. When Nintendo goes back and says no change the date never mind we wanna push everything back. The business is going to look at them and say you are hurting our bottom line. We had plans to start selling stuff for your new platform Months ago. No we can talk about it now this is when it was supposed to be mentioned anyway we want to make sure our investors know we have product coming in the future. Products that we will sell for your platform. It’s business 101. Actually that probably would be business 201. Anyway, this is simply done because they have to let the public know they have to let investors know they have new product coming in the future and this is where that product will be. It’s an agreement made between Nintendo and third-party manufacturers happens all the time if you as a first party platform maker delay your platform it’s not their problem

As someone who mostly uses their Switch in docked mode, I'm really glad that they're shipping with the LED. I ended up upgrading my OG Switch to an OLED a few years ago. It looks absolutely incredible, and yet, I STILL mostly use it docked (Because I have an LG C1 OLED).

It makes sense that Switch 2 is basically just an upgade instead of a whole new crazy thing. Time and time again it's been show that players want to play games on a screen with the standard controller layout. All the wacky gimmicks get old quick and eventually people stop buying software for systems like that. Switch 2 is a screen and a controller, the winning combo that gamers are looking for.

I don't know how you guys could say there weren't enough Nintendo published games for N64. Pound for pound the Top 20 N64 games were better than the Top 20 Switch games (I'm excluding rereleases). And N64 was only around for 5 years (in contrast to Switch's 8) so that's at least 4 bangers a year.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe - with all of its additional new tracks, characters, and overhauled modes - is EXCLUSIVE to Switch. Metroid Prime Remastered is EXCLUSIVE to Switch.

Nintendo always does something new and then they innovate on it. NES > SNES was iterative. N64 > Gamecube iterative. Wii > WiiU iterative. Switch > Switch 2...nothing new here.

The GameCube was largely an N64 iteration as well. And really the N64 was just the natural-ish 3D progression from the SNES... Honestly it was NES->GameCube, Wii -> Wii U, Switch -> Switch 2.

I think most people were just excited about the 3D feature at first, but ended up turning it off. It became annoying for a lot of us, especially when you had to hold it perfectly in place to avoid blurriness before the New 3DS added dynamic tracking.
