stooki, what glyph you use?

for this fight i used SS, Flametongue & fire nova. Fights that are over 3 minutes I use Ghost wolf instead of SS. fights that are over 5 minutes (only algalon at this point) Ill use Fire ele instead of SS.

If you aren’t parsing 99 don’t worry about swing timer. Focus on your rotation/trinket procs/fire ele snapshot.

@@stookishaman doesn't your maelstrom proc WA literally imply that you're weaving 4x proc lighting bolts? do you just wing it or do you look at the white numbers pop up and then try to pop lighting right after? WOTLKC is the first time I am taking raiding even remotely serious and my parses range from 80 to 98 (not counting the mediocre algalon kill our guild had last week) and my guild is definitely siphoning most gear to warlocks/tanks/rogues/healers/etc, but I feel like I still have no clue what I'm doing half the time and should be doing a bit better. And yeah I try to drop my Fire Elemental fairly early into most fights when I have +4k spell power then swap to masticator+caress, etc. but I feel like my DPS is still massively inconsistent, maybe I'm filling my "no big dps gcds available" time with Lava Lash too much I don't know. I also checked out your logs a bit and still saw that your more recent Ignis attempt was 90 rather than 95-99, I guess that's just unlucky crits and procs or you think there's more factors to it?

@@Dwesk The WA shows my stacks of maelstrom procs. Weaving lightning bolts means your casting lightning bolt without clipping your melee swings. Send me your log via discord and ill take a look at it. If you look at my recent ignis kill you can see i have almost zero damage from fire nova because the boss was moved out of my fire elemental totem range which is a massive grief. He isn't weaving, that's why he doesn't need a swing timer
