Ignition Tune Up on my Land Cruiser

A tune up is considered basic and routine maintenance. It's true! If you have an old truck with high miles this has got to be one of your first steps to get the most of out the engine. In this video, I install a new distributer cap, rotor, spark plugs, and wires on the Toyota 3-FE straight 6 with over 330K miles.

The more of these videos I see the more I want an old land cruiser 😢. Stock, I have zero interest in off roading or overland stuff just want a vehicle I can wrench on and will last forever.

You're right, I left the timing alone. I've considered going back and adjusting that, but it seems to idle and run smooth so I'm not sure if I would gain anything. How's yours?
