Ignobles: The Best Smash Ups in Smash Up

Ignoble shape shifters, one of the strongest pairings for ignoble I have played, allows you more opportunity to grab your foot do the king with G.E.LF. and you can't copycat chain off of sneaky squire. Also doppelganger let's you grab aunt of stakes, and you can trade mimics for strongest minions with hostage exchange, and getting your bug minions with "Really?" Is great as well.

before seeing your vid: i think this would combine well with Itty Critters from teh big in japan expansion. You can use trainers and actions to thorw out a sneqky squire to another player and then at the end of your turn the minion returns to your hand or deck. Giving you the bonus but not leaving your minion in control of the enemy :) Ignobles also work a lot better with their titan :) Edit: and there it is, the ignobles itty critter combo :D

Naturally when this video was made the expansion wasn't out yet, but I think a interesting Smash Up is of Ignobles and Disco Dancers. There are not many combos, there is only one I discovered playing those two together the other day, and I needed to have the luck to have all the cards with me at the time. But the trick is having a Dancing King in play, and a trick to play two action in one turn (Aust of Drakes or Celebration). With that, you can play We Are Family in a opponent minion with High Power. Then you play Hostage Exchange to trade a low power minion of your with a low power minion of theirs, and the minion with the "We Are Family" Action. And for bonus you can take control of a third minion because of the Dancing King. You give one minion away to take control os three, and that's awesome. The bummer is that you only have one Hostage Exchange and one We Are Family. But becomes more awesome if you use Disco Lou to get back Hostage Exchange from the Discard Pile and even without We Are Family, the Dancing King allows you to take control of a extra minion of wichever power anyway. It's not the easiest combo to have all the cards in your hand. But man, that can steal control of minions like King Rex and stuff. It was pretty awesome. Still lost the game anyway, but it was awesome.

I feel bad I didn't see this combo earlier, but I only recently bought Munchkin, and was barely able to try this combo out. There is some amazing synergy between Halflings and Ignobles. The Ignobles can give away a minion to an opponent to allow the Halflings to drop a minion chain to break the base. With the new Titan this is even better since Small But Tough can be used on The Foot of the King, or The Aunt of Drakes which both make great card draw engines when paired with The Hill that Strolls.

Jake Ritter The Ninja team is more focused on jumping on lots of second place spots, letting you give first to whoever has your betrothed (ideally on an ignoble or ninja base, where 2nd place has more points anyway). Alternatively, you can come in from behind with a surprise play of shinobai and inevitable betrayal.

They are one of the few factions I don't like to play. In this case I like their theme but I always struggle to play them effectively.
