Ignorance is Bliss but Knowledge is Power

When I used to ponder the saying "ignorance is bliss" i always would like to counter It by stating that TRUE bliss is knowing and accepting. I don't know if I was just naive or what, but now I feel more confused and lost then I did a few years ago, and I'm only 24 lol

Thank your for saying this, we needed this more. I also love learning, just asking questions, even the stupid ones, cause maybe I will learn something, maybe even remember or teach, or just give an idea for a person. I love to learn and to question everything. Not everything everything, but most things.

Ignorance is bliss for people who prioritize environmental/outside acceptance over self knowledge. Or knowledge in general. Because anytime one is ahead of the curve, ie know more, more out of the group. Being alone, not belonging to a group is terrible for some people, they are afraid of it as much as death itself. Hence ignorance becomes bliss.

I love your idea on choosing happiness. It can really be that simple, choosing that you don't want to live your life any other way but surrounded by love and happiness is genius!

Wow, I couldn't agree with you more. A lot of rubbish shows and what many people find entertaining quite frankly bores me to an ocean of tears. Most people lose their curiosity about how many things, including the world itself, actually work in their teens. I've maintained that curiosity and from many sources, including right here on KZbin. Not only is it rewarding in itself, but some of that knowledge can be quite useful. For example, who in their right mind wouldn't want to about know things like selecting better investments or taking better care of their health? If that makes me a nerd or geek than I'm PROUD OF IT!

@@totry6721 I don't get it either. Instead of watching sports, I always preferred to do my own sports. Anyone for mountain biking, paddling in whitewater, parachuting, hiking, SCUBA diving, or wakeboarding?

How do you find ideas for a video? Maybe you saw a post about something somewhere or a video, or while working in the kitchen you decided to think about something
