That second house you did I was looking at that a couple of years ago and they took it off the market I'm glad you did it again so now if I want to purchase it I know how to do

I would love to see some traditional modest Panamanian homes under $100,000 for those on a budget. Thank you for the interesting video😄

Those don't exist in Altos Del Maria. Glad you liked the video!

Just get a lot and build a traditional cinder-block house, very cheap, very authentic and you would not have neighbors all around you.....been traveling to Panama' for 20 years and I want to do this in Volcan, few gringos there, cheaper land and the streets and sidewalks are NEW, waaaaayyy better than Boquete, it really makes no sense as to why

You can see those in other areas.

Those houses are breath takers and the view is amazing. Just the location justified the prices.

Love this video- thanks for the look inside Altos. I’ve said it before but it’s number one on our list.

In upcoming video can you share what the HOA dues are, what amenities are included, total number of houses, well water?, septic sustem or other?, size of lots? Very fun! Thx for letting us tag along!

We discussed many of those things in last week's video on Altos. kzbin.info/www/bejne/g5qTZamLbdekfas

From Connie: The TSM (which she is calling HOA) is $80.25 per lot. There are around 250 full time residents, but many more houses. During North American winter months many snowbirds come to occupy their houses or rent. On the week-ends, Panamanians come from the city to enjoy their week-end homes, so there is always a population ebb and flow.. There are no wells. Altos provides potable water to everyone from reservoirs. The water is $8 per month and your bill goes up exponentially if you water a lot during the dry season (I do) or if you have a pool. So maybe for two months out of the year, my water bill will be $25 - $30 and then it goes back to $8. Each house has it's own septic. The size of the lots are all different.

@@IGoPanama Are you allowed to grow vegetables on your own lot in Altos? I hear that gated communities have a lot of restrictions.

If you thinking what I'm thinking folks looking for affordable retirement rental deals here not 💡 European upscale expensive properties I might as well stay in the US !🤔

This is ONE community in Panama. There are others that are more expensive and others that are cheaper.

Connie is fantastic, she is a no nonsense type of person who just tells you like it is. She was extremely helpful with us, but we decided altos was not for us.

@@IGoPanama yes we choose El Valle...altos was just way to Quiet after living there for six months
@IGoPanama2 жыл бұрын
That was EXACTLY our experience! Thought we were going to love Altos, but realized it's just too isolated for our future needs. We literally went to El Valle just as a day trip for fun and FELL IN LOVE!! Did you buy there or are you renting?
@kpersad25792 жыл бұрын
@@IGoPanama we bought...sadly we used a horrible realty company called Panama Equity. We are 8 months in and can't get our house finished as promised and the realtor disappeared after the day we took possession. But, that's another story...we still love el valle and are super happy that we decided on here

Very expensive house for$485k., you can get good house in $200k with swimming pool in some areas of Florida, where you can get more money doing AirBnB.I am waiting for housing market to crash to buy more houses.
