@ilikematches25 ай бұрын
He wasn't lying, but it's a farcry from an absolute truth. In this context scientific understanding vs poetic abstraction are an opposing dichotomy, a paradox. The T.V. wasn't something to be afraid of as the idea of a T.V. existed in Bjork's mind as put there by the poet. The reality of a TV isn't scary - just the implications of a TV as the poet described. in this sense, "don't let poets lie" means to let truth take away fear.

beatnix maybe so, maybe not... but that charm is undeniable. She is insanely cute, and not even just because of her physical appearance.
@beatnix4886 жыл бұрын
She sings in a strange staccato with confidence and bravado. I like to listen to her debut album, but will invest no more. The music seems rough, and unrehearsed. Amateurish, yet undeniably aesthetic. - She's a trip. - !
@Drummer_Jeff836 жыл бұрын
beatnix I wont claim to know her all that well, but everything you just said is how I would describe if I could find the words. Passed her cuteness of course. Lol. Well said!

If she were to appear on an album cover in a tight silver foil space-suit, holding a clear bubble-style helmet, on a giant pie-tin convex disc, I would be inclined to believe it!

Exactly my friend, I was about to type what you just said! I have listened to this video for yeas, because of the sounds she makes while opening the tv set and talking, and only recently did I come across the term asmr and these videos. Bjork was so ahead of her time :-P
