Oh man Ordo ad Chao is such a beautiful album, easily my favorite sounding Mayhem release and absolutely perfect production. Song structures are perfect and Attila's vocal choices are glorious. There's something about that album that gives me the same warm comforting feeling as Dodheimsgard's A Umbra Omega

I really like the remaster of Grand declaration too. It needed it. Another band from Rune is Ava Inferi. Followed all of their stuff too. Too bad it’s no more. I loved the contrast of that to all the more extreme metal stuff.

My most listened Mayhem album also happens to be Chimera, I just love every second of it. Probably my favourite from their full-length studio albums. I hated Ordo when it came out, it was almost unlistenable to me. And then one day it found me in the right mood, and it just clicked into place. So I've bought the metal slipcase/red jewelcase CD version. It's brilliant, but doesn't give away itself easily.
