The Jeju island raid is the biggest event in the Solo levelling storyline that's why they are just preparing the viewers for it it's directly tied with Jin woo but it's still far away there are like 3 major arcs remaining before the Jeju island raid. I think the Jeju island raid will probably start at the end of season 2 and it will be till half of season 3.

Basically what "job change" / "class change" according to novels... is this dungeon is a test...and if he passes...he will receive class name for example...mage,assassin, tank etc etc. If you remember he has a title of "wolf assassin from killing all the wolves in the beginning episodes. That's his title..now he'll be assigned his class.

also, the reason why they're showing jeju island is so that they can show the side characters and get you more familiar with them. in the manhwa you hardly saw them until it was 'their time', and it would just be kinda weird in anime form. jeju island never showed up in the manhwa until much later.

I think they will change it because Japan and South Korea have a bad relationship, and Japan won't allow themselves to be seen as villains in their interactions. -spoiler ish the anime really does the story a whole lot of good, compared to the webtoon. in the webtoon we really dont get all these hints and "side stories" about jeju island and it really just comes out of nowhere, so i think its supposed to take away that complete surprise that there is just this random island with strong monsters on. i also believe they do this so the anime is not too stretched out in terms of episodes. 1 part should end next week with episode 12, but if what i've seen is true, then season 1 is just split up in 2 parts, whereas part 2 comes later this year. there is so much that still needs to happen, so i assume the entire season 1 will probably end with either the start of jeju island, or an event that happens a little earlier than that.

I think the Jeju Island arc will be in season 2... Season 1 cour 2 will have the red gate incident and Demons castle. If they add Jeju Island in season 1 now, it won't end in 12 episodes in cour 2 coz there are more details and buildup before the Jeju Island arc... It will be lost if they add Jeju Island raid in this season.

Not at all, Jin woo was just lucky that Igris lowered his guard because he didn't see Jin woo as a threat anymore, he wasn't expecting Jin woo to pull a blade out of thin air because no one does that, much less to have enough luck and and energy to get him in the eye, and when Igris tried to use Jin woo's dagger against him, Jin woo made it vanish and reappear in his hand through inventory, making Igris waste a move in a lunge that threw him off balance, enough time for Jin woo to get him with yet another vital strike that gave him the victory. All luck and convenience, but well written, not like one piece or dragon ball.
