I'm afraid that you are right. At Wallclimber I found Volta's wreck, he left a message for Iguazu that Michigan is a good man. And someone other than Michigan sent them on this suicide mission (Wallclimber).

I was struck by Michigan's bio in the arena: "Michigan took up leadership after a career as the commander of the Furlong Armed Fleet. There, he earned a reputation as a merciless, heavy-handed ogre of a man". I bet he hazed his recruits to breaking point.

Yup and the in game lore reason would be is that despite both G4 and G5 being recruited at the same time/around the same time. G4 Volta warmed up to Michigan and thought he could learn a lot and respected him.

I heard that dialogue from them both when I failed so many times. They were a tougher fight for me than most of the actual big boss fights. I learned quickly to take out Iguazu first since he goes down pretty easily, and to get him out on the ice away from Volta as quickly as possible.

Volta is tough, he has zimmerman, songbird, and another rocket launcher. He hit really hard. I must use stun needle combine songbird in order to defeat him

@@pdmeditationgaming8289 I used a fairly fast, light build with energy weapons and managed to beat him. I do better staying on the move and I did a lot of quick boosting upward to avoid a lot of his attacks, particularly the assault boost kick he does.
