Dude, when I found Indy 169 my life changed and I have never looked back. I know they can be chunky but when the board flips and it's heavy and slow. I love that!

Same. I ride indy 169 standards. I prefer my trucks heavy. Im only transition & curbs w no flat ground at all so a heavy set up benefits me. Also no airs on transition either. Just lip combo tricks so l feel l dont need my board to be light

I’ve been experimenting with measuring my rails from my baseplate rather than the deck edge - considering that it’s the truck we’re trying to make an angle with for slide / grind combos it kind of makes sense to me. 1 1/4” out from the baseplate seems to be the sweet spot so far

Awesome. I love set up reviews. Always very interesting to hear other skaters reasoning for what they ride so thx for makin this vid. Ive been wanting to try an egg. Was thinkin about getting one from heroin or possibly sea rat but l sorta had the impression that they were more of a 'friends' private little company which are the coolest ones. But l may try to get one if sells to public. But also l live in FL so idk. Anyways, lve just been riding a normal popsicle for awhile & l actually perfer a small tail cause l got small feet so its easier for me to scoop & have more control w a small tail. Also how u run 103a, that sounds awesome cause l like my wheels very hard & very easy to slide & really loud too. And l like how yours are straight cut too cause the lock would be very nice. I dont run small wheels like u tho. I run 56 or 58 but imagine my big wheels straight cut like yours. I bet the lock would be insane. And yes the bones bushings are the shit. Weve discussed them before on other comments. I dont even waste time w stocks nomore. Even w brandnew trucks. For me theyre not ready until l get some bones bushing in them. And yep l also just use normal reds. They work fine for me & dont feel like paying way more for swiss etc. Tried big balls before tho & actually liked regular reds better for some reason. Prob just in my head tho. I think alot of this skate stuff is mostly just in our personalized heads but thats all cool aswell. I clean them sometimes & use the speed cream & l get good longevity out of them & for what l do theyre fast enuff so lm all basic reds. Thx. I appreciate all the vids u been puttin out lately.

Man I’m going through the gambit and all the set up changes. Wheels from 52 to 56, boards for 8 to 10.5 shaped. Indy’s and aces from standard to classics to af1. So far my favorite is my madness deck 9.6 with 159 Indy, big balls, and Lizzie bones sigs. The other is 8.38 DKG K Bilyeu sig, 169, and 53mm tablets from spitfire oh yeah Bronson raws on that one. Got another 8.38 DGK deck , well 2 to mix and match. Zero 8.5 burnan pro with 159’s satori tommy Sandoval wheels, and whatever the gold bearings for bones. The biggest are between my natas collector reissue with ace af1, 56 mm spitfire conical full, Indy hardware, Jessup grip while the rest is all mob, and the highest level bones bearings before Swiss

I somewhat disagree about eggs needing to have symetrical nose and tail. I have an 8.75" antihero robbie russo "i hate computers" deck which is an egg/eggish shape, but it has a larger steeper nose. I dont know if that makes it some different shape im unaware of. I do know it is in my top ten favorite boards of all time though.

Wish they would make a 8.0 egg shape that's not too pointy. I bought a 8.0 90's shaped Magenta deck (Jameel Douglas guest board) and it's so pointy the tail feels like popping off a 7.5 deck
