BTS only do interviews in the West when they are promoting something. They did interviews when they went to UN and also when Butter was released. The only reason Coldplay is being interviewed right now is because they are promoting their album and upcoming world tour. This is absolutely normal.

Last time this woman interviewed BTS, she couldn't even say a word about Butter, but was "obsessed." Let's wait and see if she gets a chance to interview BTS again and if she actually listens to the music before interviewing them

Coldplay is a great band and I love their music. For a group who has experienced tremendous success, they are so humble, gentle, gracious and humorous in their interviews. Happened to hear this live on the car radio on the way home from a class. That night was the only time I've heard "My Universe" on the radio. It's only been a couple of weeks, but still. The advertising the channel snippet with songs from multiple artists even uses the "My Universe" clip of Chris Martin singing in English, the chorus as I recall. But I have yet to hear the song play. And this interview, while flattering, was not really much more in depth. I'm glad the interviewers had nice things to say at least, even if they didn't say much else.

Note: Coldplay rarely let artists do covers of their songs......unless the artists gives a VERY good reason. Letting BTS do a cover of 'Fix You'.....was a clue to their joint song later on.....a lot of ARMY (BTS Fandom name, FYI) Fans had a feeling about from that day on.

The woman from iHeartRadio really needs some training in how to critically engage in a conversation. Chris said BTS is a boyband and paused after he said man... to add old to refer to Coldplay; because BTS are men, just younger. She repeated "man band" without any clue why Chris didn't say that. She loves the story of Coldplay working with BTS because she loves how songs come together... What did you like ABOUT the actual story? This is the same scenario from when Butter came out, and she was "obsessed" with the song, but couldn't say a word about it. Giving compliments is nice, but she should know she doesn't come off as a skilled interviewer. [I didn't pay attention to the other interviewer, so no comment]
