Such a bold move to start a new musical in New York without going through a tour first. A bold move, yes, but not impossible with such an amazing cast and crew. I couldn't think of anyone better to re-write such an original classic other than Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman, who have already dealt with such delicacies such as Marilyn on the hit tv show "Smash" in such a classy way. It wasn't a mockery or a biopic, it was simply a beautiful way to honor her, as I hope this show will do also.
