Erie Canal Trike Tour day 2

There Erie Canal is a Triker's dream! It's beautiful and it passes through towns every 10-15 miles. From Buffalo to Albany, this trail is perfect for a weeklong bike tour. Upstate New York is beautiful at the beginning of fall, the foliage is just starting to change, the weather is cool, and while there is some rain, there are also a lot of beautiful riding days. If you ever get the chance to become an End to Ender, I highly recommend this tour. This is my first day, I started in Albany, took my recumbent trike on the Amtrack to Buffalo, where I started my ride.

Great video and ride! I grew up in Lockport. Those green gates you saw only go down in the off season when the canal is drained for the winter to protect the locks.

iv been thinking of building a 2 person 4 wheel recumbent with space to sleep in back. solar panels on top. enough range to go 200 mi at 30-40 mph. its such a beutiful country which we miss in our airplanes and highways

if you do, you'll want a solid panel, these foldable ones don't charge anything, I had it hooked to a drone battery for two days and not a drop of charge. plugged it into an outlet and it charged in 20 minutes. Also if you do I'd life to see photos and videos of the build.

i only saw two or three my entire trip, but unless you're touring Ireland there are going to be snakes. and I don't think they can get into a good tent.

I'm editing at home, I don't have a laptop, and I don't really ride fast enough to make it to the camp sites or hotels early enough or with enough energy to edit in the future I hope I can change that.

Nice part 2. How long to the rough section last? Do you have full suspension? How many watts is that solar panel and what are you charging with it?

Hi Brandon, I'm glad you liked the video. it wasn't overly long, as I recall it took about 15 minutes and yes the Dumont has full suspension, the charger was supposed to be 60w, but it doesn't charge anything, I had a dji spark battery plugged in it for 2 days and not a drop of charge added. I returned it to amazon when I got home.
