@@bigfudge1923 I thought late 2016 - early 2017 was more of a diamond in the rough period tbh aj styles vs cena, elias was kinda funny, braun strowman was on fire, alexa bliss, sasha and becky were lighting up the women's division, Finn Balor was lighting up the universal title, the draft returned with Shane and ended the boring ass Authority Era where triple h would come out and mope half of the show, Shane was on fire throwing himself off the top of the cell at 55, Shinsuke Nakamura was going places, Bray Wyatt was WWE champion and was becoming like the second Undertaker, Bullet Club in WWE (kinda), SmackDown and RAW both got a makeover with SmackDown Live being a thing and Talking Smack with Miz and Bryan was amazing and felt real

If you think THAT was bad, you really need to rewatch 2011 and 2012. That was Cena at his most Insufferable (with him walking all over Nexus) and while CM Punk and DB were a light in the dark, the situations and feuds they were put in were just horrendous apart from the botched "Summer of Punk". That was the time of Heel Michael Cole feuding with Jerry Lawler, The "Anonymous Raw General Manager", the "Divas Division" with waaaaaay too much Bella-Twins overexposure. Watching that time in particular back, it's no wonder people were all so miserable back then. Remember Cody's "Worst Match of all time"? And the "original Sin Cara"? Yeah... that was in 2012. At least in 2018 and 2019 Women were booked well in comparison

I tried coming back around this time and It had me convinced I just didn't like wrestling at all anymore but then when MJF and Cody started getting heated, I came back and realized how amazing It can still be. Nah, the real worst RAW episodes are the ones from early September 1998, in one it's just jobber-midcard matches and Kane and Undertaker interrupt every single one and attack everyone whilst Vince swears at them, and then the other is literally just meaningless jobber matches whilst the real storylines happened on that week's Heat. At least stars actually appear on these modern 'worst' episodes. The worst part about the 1998 ones is that they were right after Summerslam, and they were on Saturday too. Every match on the card except 2 are under 5 minutes, and the 2 that are over both end in DQ. RAW September 12 1998.

This era of raw is nostalgic for me (Yes I am getting nostalgic about 6 years ago ) because it was when I started really getting into watching wrestling, I was mostly watching smackdown live but I would watch a raw here and there and I legit thought the bumper theme was actually the main theme because they played it way more than the actual main theme 😂 wwe in 2018 was carried by becky and bryan though, I also will never forgive vince for making 2018 survivor series a clean sweep for raw despite smackdown being the far better show at the time
