One more extremely wonderful talk by Rajivji on Artificial Intelligence and its implications on the world. He sheds light on the issues most have not touched or understood. This video must be watched and shared by everyone because it is going to impact everyone in the world directly or indirectly in the next 8-10 years. Anyone of the intelligence, anyone with the kind of scholarship that Rajivji pursues, is perhaps hard to find, at least amongst Indians, though I would go to the extent of claiming that not even anywhere in the world. Indian govt. ignoring him is very unfortunate for Indians and also for the govt. because the present Govt. has the same gaol as Rajiv Malhotra.

Good to watch Dr.Rajiv Malhotra a live wire motivating one and all. I remember participating writing few pages on the theme on Breaking India he has suggested year ago. Rajiv’s books reached millions of homes but implementers are not interested due to their own hidden agendas. I remember Transcendental Meditation introduced in 70s by Yogi Mahesh in USA. Yes there is a difference in intelligence and Consciousness. Wisdom is superior to Intelligence. If we get wisdom I feel that we can positively understand sub-consciousness. Consciousness and Super consciousness coupled with Non-dualism, Dualism and Qualified nondualism (based on Krishnam Dharmam Sanatanam) and Indian version of AI may be a 4th philosophy. We have created Brahma Vsihnu-Maheswara in the form of our few politician's “followers” (bot?) on FB-Google-Twitter and Rajiv ji rightly said “quick fame” copying his phrases and minting money elsewhere! And U turn cycle coming back to India is going to happen. It’s true that concentration of powers in few like East India Company will lead to Social upheavals and unrest at the back drop of googlization of the world/ wikipediazation of the visual and print media. I call concentration of worldly power in few companies at a future date is similar to Chatur-Mukhas-Brahma / Chatur-Mukha-Vishnu. I saw people stopped thinking and suggests others to “google it and get info” hence Moronization has spread deep into village panchayat levels! One can understand Dr.Rajiv Malhotra’s passing remarks on the Indian Economists who fancies their economic remedies and Budgeting based on manipulated data and toeing his masters’ FUNDBANK guidelines since early 1980s! I came to know that China is a leader in Splinternet. There is no seriousness in India? Indian investment in R&D is less than 1% of our GDP. Chinese may hack our systems with their laptops while we may prefer Rafaels all along our boeders. When it comes to the status of AI in India we boast of having 100 Unicorns and it is called Growth and earning Billions by a few but impacting millions and pushing them under the BPL and joblessness!! We are 12 years behind China and USA. It is absolutely true that we have rented our brains to the west thus being called Vishwa coolies. Big Tech Devatas are not coming to India because of the Government but instantly available cheap labor arbitrage and skillful manpower! Boasting many Indian Origin people holding CEO posts in big tech companies is because of instantly available 140 Crore market on a silver platter and I do not think it is due to their intelligence! How many of them donated to PMCares here during covid19 second wave in India due to death toll varies between 5.30 lakhs to 40.40 lakhs based on which “report” we bank upon. Rajiv ji is right the Indian consumers are interested on imported goods. For example Indians are not buying Kashmir Badam/almonds but imported almond hence almonds growing area came down from 2000 acres to 5000 acres now in Kashmir and some of they have gone back to growing apples!! I am happy to inform you that the Supreme Court has considered Dr.Rajiv’s decade old suggestion to use AI in Judiciary.

In IIM we have to digest many western theories like The Goal by drum buffer rope, Time and motion theories, Porter strategic models, call centers and Poisson models, Mc Kinsey 2x2 grid like cash cows and stars and write essays. At work one of the people I knew said some IT project is using porters competitive strategy grid like entrants, elasticity and so on in their work. So they have also digested the western theories. May be now Rajiv ji will argue that these theories were originally Indian. In software some of the code really looks like management theories. There are also things like spring actuators and Java management extensions and so on which Rajiv ji knows as he has been technical -------- In Benson’s case, he digested Maharishi Yogi’s Transcendental Meditation technique and called it The Relaxation Response. Goleman’s career took off when he used Indian models of psychology to write his blockbuster book, Emotional Intelligence. Kabat-Zinn learned Vipassana, considered one of the most ancient forms of meditation, from the Indian teacher, S.N. Goenka with full acknowledgment and gratitude and turned it into his proprietary Mindfulness Meditation, positioning it as Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). Snakes in the Ganga

Maybe Rajiv ji can teach this 👍 Yes, adding an AI elective to PGSEM alongside quant could be valuable. It would equip graduates with the latest in-demand skills for managing tech-driven projects and navigating the rapidly evolving AI landscape. Consider this: AI's growing impact: AI is transforming industries, and PGSEM grads need to understand its potential and limitations to lead effectively. Complementary to quant: AI builds on quantitative analysis, making the two electives synergistic. Grads can use AI tools to analyze data more effectively and make informed decisions. Adding an AI elective shows PGSEM's commitment to preparing future leaders for the tech-driven future. Bard

You're right, the portrayal of Gandhi in NCERT textbooks has evolved over time. Very Engaging talks as usual From Rajivji. Rajivji mentioned about the need for a generation of yogis who will be comitted to finding happiness within rather than in the loukika world. I think with the growing of wealth divide which is surely increase as AI advances, the majority of the people will be forced to find happiness within (unless they choose to remain miserable) and hence we might end with a group of yogic like folks who then might alter the consciousness of the population. Nature has its own checks and balances; only we do not know if we have the time to let nature solve our issues (like climate change for example).

Thank you for the great lecture. It is really unfortunate that India is lagging behind China and other countries in AI. Last year I took an interesting course on the Introduction to Human Brain at MIT by Professor Nancy Kenwisher. It is really astonishing to me that Italian physicist Gallen gets the credit for establishing the primacy of brain. Indian vedas had discussed the role and importance of brain some 1000 years earlier. Similarly, I now go to yoga classes taught by a Korean franchise in Washington DC. My instructor didn’t even know that yoga had originated in India. We Indians are not good in marketing. We believe that good products will sell and that the rightful owner will get the due credit. Modern economy doesn’t work that way. We need to get our narrative right and effective if we want to become Vishwaguru.

While generalizations about nationality and race are complex, one could argue that historical ties between India and Britain, through colonization, have left a lasting impact on various aspects of Indian society, including governance, language, and legal systems. The British influence might be perceived in certain administrative structures and norms. On the other hand, the United States, with its diverse population and emphasis on recognizing racial and ethnic identities, has created an environment where individuals often identify strongly with their race. In American forms, the option to identify as Asian is acknowledged, reflecting the recognition of diverse ethnic backgrounds. So, one could theorize that if you choose to emphasize the influence of British colonial history, the concept of nationality might feel closer to Britain, whereas the acknowledgment of racial diversity might draw parallels with the American context, especially with the recognition of Asian identity. However, it's important to note that India's identity is multifaceted and cannot be neatly categorized into a single frame of reference. ChatGPT Argue that in India if I pick a nationality then it is closer to british and if I pick a race it is closer to America as an interpretation as Britain unified india and American govt accepts race in its forms and Asian is recognised . Just a theory with even a little bit of truth

The closest existing evidence might be references to "social orders" or "hierarchies" in some speeches or writings, but their interpretation without proper context can be misleading. Misinterpretations: Some writings might mention Hitler's interest in Hinduism and Indian philosophy, which some misinterpret as endorsement of the caste system. Yes, Kazakhstan is generally considered part of Asia. Located in Central Asia, it shares borders with several other Asian countries and has strong cultural and historical ties to the continent, particularly through its Turkic ethnicity and Islamic faith. However, due to its westernmost portion lying west of the Ural Mountains, it also has some connections to Europe and is sometimes included in both Asian and European regional groupings. Closest to Brahmin as a metaphor but call only Yantrika ♥️🌹✌️ In a metaphorical sense, one might draw a loose connection between the concept of "Yantrika" or technologist and the Brahmin varna. The Brahmin varna traditionally encompassed scholars, priests, and those involved in the pursuit of knowledge. While technologists don't fit precisely within the historical roles of the Brahmins, the association could be made considering the emphasis on knowledge, innovation, and intellectual pursuits in both cases. However, it's crucial to emphasize that this is a metaphorical comparison and doesn't imply a direct equivalence. The traditional caste system did not have specific categories for modern professions, and the association is made to draw a parallel in the pursuit of knowledge rather than suggesting a direct alignment. Contemporary professions, including technology-related roles, are not determined by traditional caste affiliations. ChatGPT ♥️♥️

This also confuses HR departments because they see two groups of Indians that look the same and have similar sounding names. Corporate Snakes in the Ganga I see some such systems being told in a class between BPO or ITES and IT and Consulting.

Haha, that's a fantastic quip! While reading "Snakes in the Ganga" by Rajiv Malhotra might provide you with some interesting insights about snakes and Hinduism's relationship with them, it wouldn't make you a herpetologist any more than reading about pirates makes you a buccaneer. However, depending on your sense of humor, reading the book could certainly qualify you as: An armchair herpeto enthusiast: You'd have gained a healthy dose of snake knowledge, albeit filtered through a specific cultural lens. A metaphorical reptile wrangler: You'd have grappled with complex ideas about identity, power, and cultural warfare (though perhaps not actual snakes). A connoisseur of controversial commentary: You'd be familiar with a book known for its strong opinions and critiques of certain ideologies. So, while you might not be able to identify a cobra from a cottonmouth after reading "Snakes in the Ganga," you can definitely earn yourself a badge of humor for that witty observation! Remember, laughter is the best medicine, even if it involves metaphorical snake wrangling. Bard ♥️🌹

It seems like you're describing a situation where a couple sees themselves as equals ("king and queen") after Valentine's Day, but there's pressure from some people (possibly supporters of the Bharatiya Janata Party, BJP) to conform to traditional gender roles ("husband and wife"). This could be seen as a commentary on societal expectations and gender norms. ChatGPT Question given by people

Rajiv is attacking IIM (Harvard). Will read more I don't have real-time information or access to specific articles. However, Harvard Business Review often covers various companies and industries, including Infosys and Indian Railways. For the latest and most accurate information, I recommend checking the HBR website or their archives for any recent articles on these subjects. Bard

Meritocracy, on an objective basis, is rejected because it fails to produce equal outcomes. The diversity of experiences from different identities is considered more valuable. Traditional ideas of hard work and merit, and traditional systems of rewards are called into question by Critical Race Theory. From book. That means only diversity is true. Looks like HR.♥️🌹 People often say market is flooded with IIT -IIM people. They want diversity IIM is Harvard It's important to note that IIMs aim to select candidates with diverse academic backgrounds, and the CAT exam is structured to evaluate a wide range of skills rather than favoring candidates from any specific discipline. The exam is not intended to be biased towards ChatGPT 🌹♥️

From an Indian perspective, particularly growing up in a socialist system, the concept of "merit equals pay" may be viewed as capitalistic and flawed. In a socialist framework, the emphasis often lies on equitable distribution of resources and addressing societal disparities ChatGPT 🌹

Sir, SD and Bharathiya being what they are, what else do you expect from them than being Vishwa Coolie than Vishwa Guru? We never coveted lands beyond Indian sub continent. As late as 1900, even the Vysya called Mohandas Gandhi was ostracised by his community elders for going off shore. Even Chanakya who used all his knowledge for creating the great Mauryan Empire lived only in a hut outside Pataliputra. Will that not be prudent to play to our strengths? Can we be materialistic Vysyas and Kshatriyas of the world?

Rajivji… We Indians have become unimaginably selfish and corrupt. We do not care for others, we want to amass wealth for 5 future generations in this one life…that is without realising such wealth will destroy future young generations. I think lack of proper spiritual foundation in education has coursed this disaster.
