IIM Sirmaur is a baby IIM and is consistently ranked as one the top destinations for MBA in India. IIM Sirmaur offers MBA, Executive MBA, and PhD programmes in diverse management disciplines. In which coaching institute he has taken admission for cat preparation and one more thing in 96 percentile he got iim sirmaur 😢 my friend got iim Raipur in 95 percentile and his academic scores are 7,7.5,8.68 and he got raipur in second attempt in first attempt he got 28 percentile after that he take coaching class from ims and he scored 95 percentile in second attempt

I recently discovered your channel and it has been a blessing. It would be of great help if you help me with the following. 2 years ago I completed my graduation in Bcom and started my own venture. As I was working full time in my own venture I had work hour flexibility so I also completed my Masters in Sociology(switch from commerce to humanities as I found the subject to be fascinating) in those two years. My doubt is should I disclose my Masters degree in my cat form as I am already going to show my full-time work experience of 2 years. will these two contradict or reflect well in my profile.

Hi Shweta.. congratulations. You are already ahead of the race being a non emgineer and a female. Coming to your specific doubt, pls include your sociology degree in the CAT form. This will give you an edge over others (the interview panel would have gone through hundreds of General Engineering Male profiles and they would love to talk to a Bcom+Sociology profile). Just ensure that you have a very compellimg story to tell about this abrupt switch in degree and start working hard for CAT. All the best !

Yes! Hit 99%ile, apply for all the colleges other than IIMs, give good interviews and hope for the best. Also, not just confine yourself for CAT, go for SNAP, XAT, etc.

Yes Yes! But your CAT score and Interview score should be high enough to compensate for the low academics. However, if not IIMs, there are other good B-schools like FMS which emphasizes less on the past academics.
