I cried for the time I heard her voice and that time my six years old son was talking to me I don't recall what he was saying until he kept nudging me to get my attention. Little did he know his mom was deep in emotions. Tears escaping my eyes with no arrest. He even asked " mama uyashumayela umama? I answered him with tears still running down my face saying no she's not but in a sense she was.😭 He then asked " ziyalilisa kengok indaba? I laughed though I was crying harder than before. It's Love I felt. The kind that's deeper than words could explain gratitude for the blessing she is to all Nguni people. And I'm still crying yet I thought I'd calm down a notch namhlanje. 😘😘😘😍❤️ Her last words. Wow. If only we truly heard and comprehended what she meant for us a humans of all racial groups. Thank you sabc. I I'll need 27 days to stop crying when I talk about my love for mama. And my son... He hugged me so tight cause he has never seen me watch news and cry. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 God bless your soul mama Noxolo #Igqala_Legend

I felt proud watching Noxolo with other Zulu boys when I was young. I did my primary in a xhosa school and she was one of people that made me feel proud and no discrimination from my Zulu age mates. Enkosi mama, awazi how much you have done to other people's lives

I thought I did not know this woman when I saw the thumbnail, but when she started speaking, I remembered who she is from the sound of her voice. My mother loves news and I remember times we'd switch between SABC channels to rewatch the same bulletins in different languages, including Afrikaans. All I can say is....there was so much I did not understand from what was said🙈. But I guess we always remember the distinct voices. She is such a seasoned news anchor. Farewell mama❤

....when I first saw the broadcast about her (then upcoming) retirement on saturday, I must be honest I went literally cold (you know the feeling you get when you hear the news that your loved one has died) thinking she had passed on. That is simply because we, as a nation, do not get to applaud or celebrate our heroes while they are still alive. I am very pleased by what South Africa did to Noxolo. To top it all was the President moving his Nation's address so that everyone can give this iconic person the attention and love she deserves as she hangs her mic.❤
