I'm currently attempting to run my published files through IIS 10 Express using windows 10 home rather than windows server. Is it possible to go live with my HTML project or will i need windows server to actually go live ?

at the final...where you rename the text document, where you create your basic html site, your extension changes automatically. Mine not. Remains .txt. I tried to modifying it from proprieties, but unsuccesfull. How can i solve that? Thank you!

Liked the tuts fallowed and did the labs, found one error, im not sure if its version differences or what but setting up the iis to the dns the same way you did caused a error stating the the revers lookup did not exist, it was a simple fix. I know your using 2016, I went through the tut with 2022 not sure if that was why mine did not do the DNS revers look up when setting up like it seemed yours did or something else was setup and not shown in vid. Thanks was fun!

No, this isn't a publically available domain name, just an example. If you want to purchase a domain name, it's a simple process and tons of videos and guides on the Internet on how to do so and update the DNS settings to point to a specific server.

I know that website server setup is required to build website for global communication. But lot of developers are using 'filezilla software' and 'other software' for website development. But I want setup website server by only computer OS. For example : 'Map networking drive' in My computer section for edit the website. I have unlimited Linux webhosting plan. Can advice how to setup website server without command OR without 'Filezila'?
