IISc scientists find how common TB treatment makes bacteria drug-resistant

The rise of drug-resistant tuberculosis is a global concern. A recent research paper from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) in Bangalore shows how a common antibiotic causes infected cells to create a thick layer that protects the bacteria inside. ThePrint’s Mohana Basu explains the findings.

Sir/ Madam, I would earnestly request you to please cover student protests for transparency and fairness in competitive exams. No mainstream media is covering our plight. And the government has decided to ignore the Twitter campaign. Despite working hard day after day we are deprived of what is due to us. First, they came after dissenters. Then farmers. and now that students have started to protest for their rights, I wonder how much time is left before they do the same thing to us. We have no hope despite working hard day after day and feel like a burden to our families. Please help us raise our voice, I know this is not the right video to post about this.
