Need not write IAT if you clear KVPY. It can be written in higher secondary classes too

Hi Vaishnavi!! you can give the KVPY exam twice in class 11 (KVPY SA) and 12 (KVPY SX). You can also give KVPY third time (KVPY SB), if you are pursuing a basic science course (first year) after class 12.

Check the biology syllabus of IAT and concentrate only on that

First focus on PCM subjects. If you score good in this there would be no or very little need for biology. But since exams is ought to be postponed , you may want to read some chapters which had relevance in Classes 9 and 10. But no need to worry. I scored negative in Biology, but still got into IISER.😁

See people generally go for PhD and then PostDoc after BS-MS. But there a lot of people who may want to join jobs in R&D and Industrial Research Jobs. Let me warn you that there are no official placements in IISER Pune, however, professors have a lot of contacts and can recommend you for jobs which is almost certain that you will be accepted. Same way they may also recommend top universities in world for your PhD proposals.
