As someone who's done multiple speeches, I can see why the director lost patience. The most insulting thing a person can do, is not listening to the person who is speaking for you. Judging by the girl's immediate counter-behavior, the director must've warned her multiple times. If you can't sit still without talking to your friend, then you should've sat behind.
