Sir in the 54th question we have 1350 nucleotide , so 1 ribosome will translate 900 nucleotide. The remaining 450 nucleotide will be translated by another ribosome. Once the mRNa is translated ....how can it be retranslated like you mentioned no of times ribosome can translate the nucleotide???

Two types of genes present in our body 1. House Keeping Genes (always required) 2. Inducible Genes (required in some special conditions only) Housekeeping genes mRNA are more stable than inducible genes. The more amount of protein required the more stable the mRNA/ more number of mRNA synthesised/ multiple times it will translated.

@@vanshikasingh2631 The life span of the mRNA is 2 min. That means, mRNA is stable for 2 min in cytosol. After that it will degrade. Now come to the ribosome. Speed is 300 aa/20 sec. Total size of the mRNA is 1350/3 =450 amino acid. Ribosome will take 450x20/300 or 30 sec to complete translation. After finishing one round translation, still have some time to translate the same mRNA for 2 rounds. Again it will take 30 sec. Per min it will translated the same mRNA 2 times. Within 2 min it will translate 2x2 = 4 times

A dna has 5000bp if amount of adenine is 20%, then total nucleotide of cytosine are?......... Sir in this question ans should be 3000 but on every site answer is given as 1500. Can you please confirm the answer sir?

Total bases are 5000 20% of 5000 is 1000 bases. A = 1000 According to Chargaff's rule A=T and G=C A = 1000 T = 1000 A + T = 2000 G+ C is (5000 - 2000) = 3000 Out of 3000, 1/2 is C and 1/2 is G So, C is 3000/2 = 1500

Check the questions carefully, if 5000 bases then C will be 1500 And if 5000 bp, then answer will be C is 3000
