The principal of natural justice is that the judge should have no bias. The girl had submitted following points. 1. There are empty quarters. 2. The quarters entitled for PhD students were given to staffs. Now the debate should be on provisions of law when judgement is done on background of a person then it's not law. There are plenty of cases of sexual harrasment by IIT professors. The world view of honorable judge says IIT professors cannot be bad, this is something not consistent with facts.

We cannot deduce actual personality and outlook on the basis of what we are seeing. There might be some truth in her grievance, the video does not have sufficient content for us to deduce anything either way. I was single during my PhD and there was a time when something negative was happening every single day. It takes a toll on you and not everyone handles it the same way. I've seen things get so bad for some PhD scholars that the PhD degree itself in the end holds no professional or personal value for them. One has to find right balance and take right decisions in life.

While the woman's case has demerits, "ill thoughts against a prestigious institution" is a very subjective opinion as prestige itself is based on perception which does not have standing in the neutrality of law. No neutral or legal decisions should be made on the basis of perception but rather on facts. It is unfortunately not easy to deduce facts on the basis of what we see on these videos.

Many IIIts and IIts run by thugs ,they didn't listen to anyone ,this lady at least have some guts to come to court to complain ,rest of just think "3-4 saal ki hi tu baat hai sah lenge". People in comment section don't know how this institution run ,they make student life so frustrating.

She says she has been pursuing a Ph. D. for 7 years. I'm not saying a PhD can't require 7 years, but come on. Also, when you say IITs and IIITs are run by thugs, you mean Professors who are arrogant, self absorbed and think they are the Gods among humans and think everyone is inferior to them. That's what power does. Even teachers in primary and secondary school are drunk on power. None of this has anything to do with the case at hand, which is of accommodation.

@@lazzykathrine5951 Judge has rightly pointed out her behaviour as a habitual complaint maker....i am surprised how the hell she can approach A High court for such a nonsense issue & she can't even show that she is legally entitled for accommodation..... She is lucky that she got a few hearings without talking on law.... I would hv dismissed and fined her for wasting court's time if i would have been sitting Judge there....
