School : Interactions between molecules is stronger in solids, weaker in liquids and much weaker in gases Grad School : Interactions between any two molecules is the same in solid or liquid or gas, only the disorderness of the system dominates at higher temp when compared with internal energy. Nature can be understood in a much better way with statistics. The beauty of statistics. :-)
