in 6:16 it should be D/A because the command signal is digital and the output must be analogue

Doc Gopal himself even says the downstream device requires an analog signal yet writes the exact opposite... this is still a good intro to the common sensor and actuator instrumentation for later implementation of system controls.

The resistor symbol is out dated, the new symbol is a rectangle going along with the wire. But otherwise very good

Indeed, this symbol is not outdated but in common use thoughout North America. What you're referring to is probably a European Standard I'm not accustomed to, but not at all International.
