There have also been disputes and controversies surrounding the eviction of Palestinians from their homes, particularly in areas like East Jerusalem.
The history of the Israel-Palestine conflict stretches back thousands of years, including the era of the Ottoman Empire. Understanding this history provides context for the ongoing issues and disputes in the region.
