It flew really good but it really wanted to dive and come in hot for the landing. I'm hoping that adding some up elevator in the mix with the flaps will help.

even on this overcast day, easy to see what the plane is doing. So many RC plane videos the plane most of the time is not much more than a spec in the sky. Like your running commentary so the viewer gets useful information.

High wings require down elevator mix almost always and low wings require up elevator many times

My maiden earlier this year was tough on grass (it wanted to tip forward and chew up the grass) I was finally able to get it up by pinning the elevator.

plane looks killer,take off flight and landing looked pretty sweet as well,I just bought the blitzworks p40,my first flight (after I took care of the way out of trim ailerons) didnt go so well,becuase i guess these warbirds like to pitch left on take off,so i bent my landing gear.

Nice looking aircraft and good flight. I use a cheap lipo alarm set at 3.5V connected to the balance lead as a flight timer (timer on transmitter as an indication) - depending on throttle setting of 3S 2200 mah battery on my Drafly Tundra I get between 8 and 12 minutes before the alarm goes off. At battery removal I have around 3.6 - 3.7V per cell. I find this a more accurate way to time a flight (to keep battery in good condition) than using a 'set' timer on the transmitter. Happy New Year Gary and everyone else from a hot 38 deg (Celsius) (100 deg F) day in Melbourne, Australia.

Looks good. Plenty of zip on 3S. Does the speed control have a switching type BEC or is it a linear type? Hobby Zone info is goofy. BTW, low wing designs may need a little up elevator with landing flaps, opposite of high wingers.

Hi Larry! For the AS3X and SAFE to work properly the RX must be mounted to the airframe.
