I’ve had Amplitube since generation 3. It has SO many combinations of amps and effects that I can string together sounds I would never have considered before. Some of the “stomps” in the past were uninspiring, but Amplitube has been adding and improving their lineup, so it really feeds hours of experimentation and creativity.

Videos by Guitar Bonedo are some of the best out there. Amplitude 5 sounds and feels great. SE version is more than enough for most people. Flexibility is amazing. As with all these types of software the gain staging aspect at the audio interface, within DAW, and within Amplitude is important and makes a big difference. I use an Audient ID4 as the instrument input sounds really good.

Yes there is a BIG difference in the tones you can get with 5. Try out the free version and dip your toes in... the waters are great!

@@danielmunoz6020 I have been using Amplitude 4 for quite a while and the main thing for me with Amplitude 5 is how much better it feels when playing. I was also using Studio Devil Amp Pro because it felt real playing it, but not anymore. Amplitude 5 sounds great and feels great, the latter being the most important to me.

@@danielmunoz6020 I understand and agree with what you are saying. The bottom line is how the sound one creates sits in the mix. Any of these softwares can be tweaked to achieve a great end result. It's really in the ears and fingers.

Amplitube 5&4 are the worst. I get nothing but static and delay. I have tried everything, and it still sounds like shit. To all people I would never ever recommend this trash product. This purchase was the biggest was of money.

Try using a cpu/laptop that isn't ancient and make sure you are using actual non-bluetooth studio monitors or headphones for the latency issue but it also sounds like that is also the problem with the unwanted noise you are getting.
