In this episode of the Varinder Khurana Show on The Vocal Punjab, we discuss the journey of Dr. Sahaj Meet, a young female researcher from Punjabi University Patiala. As an aspiring filmmaker, scriptwriter, and traveler, Dr. Meet has embraced diverse roles in her quest to narrate unique and empowering stories. She attended a long workshop in Indiana Universities, where 30 young filmakers from 15 each from Indian and Pakistani Punjab participated and shared their experiences of common rootes through Filmmaking.
In "Ik Kudi, Kyi Safar, Kyi Kahaniya," we explore her life, how Dr. Meet turns these challenges into fuel for her research. From her perspective on female empowerment to the struggles women face in achieving freedom, her story resonates with anyone who seeks inspiration.
