Daljit Ami is currently serving as the Director of the Educational Multimedia Research Centre at Punjabi University, Patiala. He is a senior journalist and has been a documentary filmmaker for more than 25 years. He has worked with media houses such as The Tribune, Day & Night News, and the BBC. He has translated several English books into Punjabi, including The Ministry of Utmost Happiness, a novel by Arundhati Roy, and Seeing Like a Feminist, an important book on feminist theory and movements by Nivedita Menon. Recently, he translated a 24-episode web series on the travels of Guru Nanak from English into Punjabi and Hindi. He has also been nominated as a jury member for an international documentary film festival, the 15th Prakriti Film Festival.
In this Forth Episode of Varinde Khurana Show, we interacted with him, on an issue regarding Higher Education and Universities; thier Mandte vs. thier performance is the man agenda in focus. There were a few critica heated arguments also took place. But over all it was a good program. Because the dialogue must go on.
