A true picture of Kenya's dilapidated football stadiums, they can't meet the threshold of hosting Africa"s largest soccer bonanza, this is a mere dream, we are living in Utopia, i have been watching Afc Leopards matches while seated on hard concrete for a whole 90 minutes!! We surely lack the basic facilities!!!

Co-hosting AFCON in a manner that is was adopted by the Government, spreading even beyond EAC member states to also include Ethiopia doesn't reflect any sense of seriousness attached to this! Such prestigious sporting events are hosted for various reasons including branding, social, tourism and other economic benefits to mention just a few. With the proposed co-hosting; such benefits would be spread so thin and won't make any desired impact to any co-hosting state. If necessary, co-hosting should be restricted to a minimum of two and a maximum of three EAC member states. Let there be two co-hosting groups for EAC member states if other members are also interested. I know Tanzania is also planning along those lines, which makes it easier to build up on. However, I doubt on the time it might take to structure a co-hosting agreement. We might find ourselves time barred to submit the bid and hence miss out. 2027 isn't any far. I wait to be proven wrong!
