How did u mount it to the wall

I thought I knew it all and used the small metal dowels on the wrong section then wondered why my metal dowels were too big for the drawers 🤦🏻‍♂️ damn it, I’ll Learn from this!

That isn't a "safety feature". You installed the screws in the last step in the wrong direction, so the head of the screw is causing the shelf to jam while closing. Instead, install the screw by inserting it from inside the drawer

Yes it does, nails and screw are included.

IKEA has under desk support that can be used to hold it.
