We have had this bench kzbin.infoUgkxNuLbiXpLQ-mKH5NlyjrNe88hiCk2N3Cg for five years now and it is still holding up strong with minimal signs of wear! So much so that I decided to get another one to store other stuff. The first one is still beautiful, strong and is easy to clean. It’s been in our living room and we store toys and blankets in it and it really holds quite a bit of stuff. I purchased a similar one two years ago from Aldi and let me tell you that one fell apart in less than six months of use. Get this one if you’re looking. Seriously worth it. Five years already and I can’t believe it looks this good and has held up for the price! Awesome bench, the new one I just got is identical.

Thank you very much for making this video. After watching it, I was also able to build the sofa bed by myself. ( I am only 5'3"" and 66 year old lady). BTW, the interior panel for the bottom of the storage area goes in quite easily I found if you stand in the back middle, and slide it towards the front so that it goes under the the overlapping top of the front part of the sofa first. Then the whole panel just plops down easily at once.

The places where he said were difficult for one person, was, but seeing him do it let this 54 year old out of shape person do it all by herself in a couple of hours! @@chenglin513 yes. I figured it out. We put the wrong screws for that plastic thing. I had to dismantle and start again with the right screws. The right screws will go all the way down and won't block it.

IMPORTANT!!! The white pieces need to be installed in such a way that the screws go ALL THE WAY IN. If the screws stick out at all (even a tiny bit) then the armrests will get caught and NOT slide on. It is very easy to make this mistake! All you need to do is flip the white pieces in order to correct it. The long vs. short end configuration as shown in the book remains the same. There is no way to tell by looking at the photos. You have to physically put the screws into the white plastic pieces to understand what I'm talking about.

Nooo you not alone they hard to get in place I think they made them like that because it need to be solid fix so just try again the key is to push them hard on the side before you slide them down.

The side panels are a real pain. Even Ikea admits is not a great way to attach the side to the sofa body. The before option was way better.
