This looks amazing! I got all the tools and the IKEA shelves for making this. But I just realized I have no where to go spray paint. I live in a small one bedroom apartment with no balcony. Do you have any suggestions on where I could DIY this? Thank you for a great video! :)

dreammiee If you are careful, you ca do this indoors. Use masking tape to run the drop cloth up a wall. Open the windows and use a fan for ventilation. And when you're done painting, leave the apartment for a bit while it dries. The first hour is worst. Alternatively, find a friend with a driveway.

did it today. it does NOT stay on! same paint, same table, amd after hours and hours of so called quck dry...it falls off. so, if you want a golden table, buy it golden or have it professionally painted. the diy isn't wotrh your time, nor your sanity. .

If you rust-oleum paint-very good and prime surface well and research, this paint will stay on, but do wear a face mask. My sister ues this make all the time. also importanty you need to allow paint to dry thoroughly-ie 24 hours before using. some v good videos on you tube.

Hi I did the same thing with my vittsjo coffee table. Mine ended up having a lot a scratches and chipped paint on it within a week of use. How can I repair this. I used 1 can of rustoleum for 1 coat. Now should I go over with another coat of spray paint or redo this with primer first and then paint.
