About de-assembling: how do you remove the gas cilinder from the base?

Reverse order of how you put in. Push the cylinder upwards from its base. You may want to find youtube videos that show how to get the cylinder out of office chairs.

Thanks for vid. I screwed the back of the chair to the spine and found i still had a gap for the bottom screws after tunring as far as I good go?

Thanks for the vid - very helpful. 👍 If anyone has a problem fitting the mechanism to the bottom of the seat, like I did - the rear screwholes seemed just slightly too far apart - I used a diamond-coated metal-file to slightly shave the outer edges of the oval holes in the plate. Success!

Wow, DIY solution! I remember the same issue. What I did was I screw in a bit of each screw one at a time to slowly tighten the 4 screws at each corner.

Yes it reclines to about 45 degrees if you pull the right stick outwards.

Hi youssef, yes the colour still remains white as I bought it new. I didn't notice any discolouration or yellowing of the plastic or leather. The leather is creasing a bit at my thigh area. Maybe because I sit in lotus position sometimes. Hope this helps

The video is missing the second step. My lifting mechanism isn't working. Was hoping to see how you dropped that cylinder into the wheel frame to see if I missed anything or if mine looks different.

Thanks for letting us know. Yes, for the cylinder step, we just need to drop the bigger diameter side of the cylinder into the hole at the centre of the castor wheel frame. Then it should look like 5:25

Do you mean how do we recline the back of the chair? The right lever underneath the seat where we adjust the seat height, try pulling the lever outwards, that should release and allow the back of the chair to rock backwards. Is that what you are asking?

Is there a way to disable the wheels' lock system so you can still roll around while sitting on?. I've seen in the 1:15 that they now have a square like "You won't put a screw to prevent the block just like ya did with the other wheels, AH..."

Oh really? Do you mean we can do something with the square underneath to stop it from rolling? I haven't tried disabling the wheel lock. My issue is I can't roll around when I am not sitting on, rolling while sitting on it fine. Let me try and experiment with it.
