Hey. The wooden support needs to be upside down. So it has an arc up not down. That's why it is a support. Otherwise your matrace and body will fall and not be supported :)

Thank you, I know they included mini wrenches 🔧 but I don’t remember any other tools. Normally they would included a screwdriver and flat head tool that are dual.

On the video they put them upside down, the curved side goes up, so when the matress is on top the bend down and won't fall.

Very nice job! Though, I wish you have also uploaded the instruction manual (paper booklet). I am giving away my bed, but I don't have the manual, and it going to be a hell of a job for the next owner to put it together. (I'm referring to those "moon like shape plastic parts, you also had a trouble with. Who ever came up with that, would deserve some spanking! Actually I figured out a very easy way to install it, after 2 hours trying. LOL But for anyone who still needs to put such bed together, this is how you do that part the easy, fast, and effective way: Make a "victory" sign with your index and middle finger [on left hand], so between the two finger you have an empty space, and that is the space where you need to put up that metal screw with your right hand and start screwing it. You not going to lose the screw, nothing will fall of. It's a very easy, very effective way to do it. I wish someone would have put this method into the manual. We women have smaller, skinnier fingers and having trouble with this part of the installation (unless you use the "victory" sign method I came up with), now imagine man putting this bad together with their bigger and more wider fingers! I already can hear the yelling and cursing. It makes one wonder, how did IKEA come up with this solution??? I am a 2nd owner of the bed, got it without instruction, and I was "flying in blind" trying to put it together. If you still have the instruction (paper booklet), would you mind uploading it? Thanks!

I always ask a representative to give me a printout of all the items needed for the build, they print them neatly and organized, so you can be sure you get all the parts needed ;)

WHY do you only follow part of the instructions? As others have noted, you put the slats in upside down and they won't properly support the mattress, will remain loose and will eventually fall out. Had to comment because that's a big flaw in your install.

You look at the screw and make sure its flat and doesn’t go anymore. If you hear popping you have went to far. You do not want the board to crack.
