will it accommodate a heavy person. is it worth the buy?

IKEA have not specified the maximum weight of a person the bed can handle, but in the website product page, they have indicated that the bed is tested and meets the requirement of safety, durability and stability set forth by EN 1725. The bed is strong, sturdy and very good. We felt it was worth the price we paid. In case of any specific queries/concerns, please get it clarified by IKEA. Thanks.
