I think the table is too small for adult use.

It is a great value for money. When we get to the point it is too small I will use 3d printed parts to make it higher.

Do i have to use a drill
@Fun-DIY-1014 жыл бұрын
No drill is needed. You get a tool inside the package. Screwdriver (regular or electric) with appropriate bit will help to do it faster.

Do you know if it is possible to add castor wheels to the legs? I am considering purchasing this to make my own custom desk with wheels.
@Fun-DIY-1014 жыл бұрын
The legs have a dimension of 6.5 cm by 3.5 cm (2.5 in x 1.4 in). There is a plastic below to prevent scratches to the floor. That is why I think it's possible to add the weels. I can't say how thick the plastic is but you can use another layer of plastic or wood or similar between the legs and the wheel base. The table is quite light so I think it would probably work even without an additional layer.

Question about the legs. I was hoping to hack this table to be a few inches shorter. At the lowest setting for the table, do the legs still have some space before they hit the table? If so I could just drill another hole and make it work. Thanks!

The legs can go inside for 6.5 cm (2.5 inches) so its doable. But have in mind that the leg is held in position using a screw so you should put a bolt in the legs if you want original fastening solution.

Is the table sturdy ?? Or its sways when you apply force from the top
@Fun-DIY-1014 жыл бұрын
It's quite sturdy. I had my daughter stand on it (she's 24 kg or 48 lbs) and I didn't notice any sagging or swaying. At some point of load it will sway or fail but I think is's substantially more.

Hi, if you mean the Ikea table, it is called Pahl here in EU. If you mean the table at which I was doing the assembly I honnestly don' t know. It's now 10 years old. It was bought from manufacturer in Italy.
