Heya! Would you know if the lamp clamp could fit on something that's 5cm wide? The IKEA website says that the maximum is 35mm, but i need to get a lamp on a 5cm Lack floating shelf, so was wondering if the 35mm is the actual maximum the clamp opens, or if one can mount it onto something wider as well!

Hi, if you find a screw longer than the one supplied you can reach an opening of 6cm, I just tried to disassemble the screw and the metal that holds the lamp allowed me to open up to 6 cm even if I have had to put a lot of strength into it. In conclusion, just buy a longer screw and you can mount it on a shelf between 5 and 6 cm thick. Good evening and thank you for viewing my video.

You've made my day :) (As a very lucky coincidence, someone is selling the lamp locally on Facebook marketplace with the wall bracket missing - so I probably get to get it for a quarter of the price and pre-owned, which is great as we try not to buy new things wherever possible! ^.^)

I used 2.2W 20mA LED1715G3 bulbs, but I checked there are no more on ikea, the model looks like: E27 470 lumen Ryet LED bulb 1€

@@MariaRosaPinto thank you. I have one more important question. I bought 1 Ranarp ceiling track 3 spot light and it says max 6w so should I buy 3 6w bulbs or it’s total capacity is 6w? It’s very confusing:(

Hi! The Ranarp platform is beautiful! Attention the bulb used by me is mounted by screwing it, it has a different shape from the ones you should mount. I checked on ikea, they recommend for your Ranarp track the model: RYET LED 10 with 400 lumens. You should buy 3 bulbs € 2 x 3 pieces = € 6. In your case 400 lumens x 3 bulbs = 1200 lumens (it is enough to illuminate the whole room).
