Its a nice comparison but in the end only a 1vs1 with both data sheets. Would love to hear more about your own experience, don'T know if you owned a bekant before the rudolf but my first fear is that rudolf might be wonky / shaky and if it feels like a good deal or a cheap thing that needs an upgrade as soon as it is possible in financial scope

They also sell lifting mechanism only, so in principle you could add all table tops from bekant to rodulf, no?.. so not clear why such a difference in the bases...

I would go for a solid wood table top as I am not sure about that IkEA ones are suitable for monitor arms

Why you're saying that you can't add privacy screens around Rudolf? From what I can see on Ikea's website these screens have universal mounts.
