FYI- IKEA may call that throw blanket muslin- but it is actually called double gauze. It's 2 layers of cotton looseley stitched together and permanently wrinkled, for that textured look. Just in case any of you run across it elsewhere- it's double gauze.

Ooo...I like the sage green pull out sofa. At $999, it's a great price. Also, the fitted pillow cover might work as a cushion cover on my vintage rattan chair cushion. Re-upholstery is so expensive.

Well the couch cover is wrinkled in the store. Imagine how shabby it will look in a home! My mom always said if a shirt is wrinkled on the rack in the store keep walking. It will be a nightmare to keep unwrinkled. Same concept with the couch

I myself rather go to the thrift store for real wood furniture and Knick knacks my st.vicent DePaul has beautiful furniture some from the 40s and newer plus I like how they use the money for their programs

Honestly, I’ve found better at Marshall’s, Ross, & HomeGoods for similar prices. IKEA still has some great buys though. Obviously, we can’t all score deals at TJMaxx type stores. Those stores don’t have the inventory since most items are heavily discounted clearance items from major retailers

Great video! In the past, it seemed Ikea in Germany had pretty much the same products as the US or Canada (when watching videos like yours) BUT this time it is very different: Went to Ikea here in Germany just last week. Out of the products you showed in your video the vast majority was completely new to me, only a few that they sell here, for example the workout line. We'll see when the others make their way over - or rather down - here. 😊

my ikea in vegas took out all the self checkouts and all the regular checkouts but one. so there is one checkout for about 20 people at any given time. also, the cfeteria no long takes cash. credit/debit only. they also removed the "as is" section. italso seems they are removing the food section here i used to get frozen meatballs and chocolate. it sucks

Actually, those retro looking pieces are repro (don't know if you can say that in English). i.e old patterns or designs but in new edition. At least the corduroy armchair and the drink trolley are old Ikea pieces from the early eighties if I'm not mistaken about the period. That's what Ikea here in Sweden said at least.
