I'm a chick and I love this anime. I love martial arts and this anime has some great fight scenes. Can do without all crotch shots but otherwise, love it. I'm a fan of Sonsaku, Mou-chan, Shi-san and Fu-chan.

@Social Injustice Goblin "Deads are deads. (well she appear in Shin Ikkitousen as a "ghost" / illusion / hallucination" That's not true. Kanu Unchou died in the manga and was resurrected a few chapters later. Whether the dead come back or not is a choice of scriptwriters. Personally without Ryofu I find ikkitousen a depressing bore. I think the author regrets his choice. In Shin Ikkitousen it's Ryofu's spirit that helps Ryomou to progress because obviously this place makes this miracle possible (in the same reflection as Great Guardian). Ryofu comes to shake Ryomou and force him to raise her level. At the end of this scene, exactly like in the manga, we can see Ryofu's face, calm and happy to have finally accomplished her goal. Ryomou has a thought which is only described in the manga: "Ryofu's spirit is by my side". This can open perspectives for Ryofu. Or not.
