I'll be buying a new boat soon. The VLX 20 and another brand 20' boat are the only 2 boats left on my pros/cons boat list to go through. It'll be between the 2. Just got to wait for the vlx 20 to come out so I can get my eyes, hands, and tape measure on.

@@ikonboats the perfect boat to me is lightning fast to get on pad but can also run 72-74 mph with two guys, well thought out storage, basic switches, quality craftsmanship, wide fishing platform, shorter gunnel height, some standing room on each side of the trolling motor pedal, independent livewells, easy access to battery compartment, good net storage, and really good dealer access/support. There’s more. But my list is getting too long. Maybe I’m too picky. My perfect boat may never exist. But I have it narrowed down to 2 boats. I just need to spend a little time on the water in both to figure it out.

Any plans for a 19 foot model? What’s the storage length on the VLX20?

No plans at this time for a 19' model, but the VLX20 will be out soon. Specs for the VLX20 will be available when the model is launched.

Nice definitely a dream boat for sure especially with the new color options. Unfortunately it will have to stay a dream boat as a everyday working man in this economy but im sure at some point someone will build one with my colors in mind and ill see it somewhere at some point ive only seen one ikon in the wild around my parts and its definitely eye catching.
