The mindset Welcher carries in everything He does seperates him from the pack. He only competes against himself. That is the edge He holds. I think that allows him to be more consistent. Now He is in the best boat on the market and uses some of the best eqpt in fishing. He is just getting started.

I was watching live when he caught that 10 at St. John’s instantly I was a fan,very likable guy he probably would have won st Lawrence River the year he won aoy on the elites if he was in a ikon boat,if I remember right he had boat issues last day,ikon boats you got a winner!

I have been bass fishing for 41 years and I can say after fishing with a friend in a tournament I am sold. In the process now of looking for a new ikon or going to have it built. This will be my last major purchase. This company did what all bass boat companies should have done years ago and that is hiring younger engineers along with older ones so they could redesign with old and new tech / ideas. Plus they listen to their customers, what a new concept!!!
