let us to a different top cap color as compared to the hull and app a pin strip to the bolt. all the boat is missing is some customization options. vexus is a premium charge for the 2 tone deck option

I added the Gatorbaks to my Caymas trailer 4 years ago. Best thing I ever did. Bottom of the boat still looks brand new.

Not all ikon’s are $100k. It’s an option now. You can have carpet or Gatorbak

Basscat tried those gatorbacks and had a lot of issues with them and they no longer offer them as an option

@@DejaVueOutdoors2024 I believe they had issues with the ribbing separating and tearing up the bottom of some hulls which BC warrantied and fixed. Of course this didn’t happen with every gatorbak bunk as some customers never had the issue. I believe the new XP bunk material may not have those issues.

@@Basscater81 Okay I’m having pretty bad carpet scuffs when power loading and was thinking about giving these a try. Do you by chance know if the gatorbacks would minimize it. Thanks for the reply

@@DejaVueOutdoors2024 yes sir mine is scuffed up from years of loading as well but most others are too and of course it will show more on dark colored hulls. As to the gatorbak I’m not sure since I don’t know anyone currently using them. Maybe the new XP stuff is of higher quality. You can always put your boat on stands and compound and polish as I have done this for customers.

Also on that 50 lb bag If I have all lithiums three on the passenger side and one big one on the driver side would you recommend putting a 50 lb bag on the driver's side? I also have a spare prop on the driver side I have an LX20 still trying to figure out how to get the fastest speed and smoothness right out of it!

It’s best to have 300 - 380 lbs of equivalent battery weight on an LX 20 or 21, depending on on much bow weight you have. Whatever you need to do to best balance your boat from port to starboard.

Coming from a fisherman with an electronics degree, I like what I see! I've rigged some things on my older boat, and this type of harness and accessibility should've been the industry standard long ago. It's like iKon actually listened to their consumer fisherman because they did!
