DK was actually scouted by SM and JYP in fact he was a trainee for bit in in jyp and won a dance competition along Chungha but he left when he got accepted into YGE. He’s friends with Got7 members and even Stray Kids members during that time period. When he got accepted into YGE, DK was let into the survival WIN only weeks into his start at the company which apparently WAY too early for a trainee to be given a chance, but he made it. He’s the new “leader” and producer for iKON, usually the member who takes on producing gets more lines and promo but DK and Bobby have given equal time for everyone to shine, It’s so refreshing. IKON is one of the staffs favorites because they are so chill and never demanding. Even their managers have said they are the easiest team to work for, except when they all want to get into trouble. Junhoe the one with the raspy voice is known to cause chaos when he opens his mouth 😂 but he’s what we love about how sassy ikon is.

Despite of being hiphop, iKON has one of the strongest vocal-line in kpop. And so, even amongst themselves, it's already a competition. Their colors tho are different so it all boils down to fans' preference when it comes to who your favorite vocalist is... Starting with their Lead/Main Vocals - Jinhwan (Jay) and Ju-ne... Jay is the one you said who has the softest features. But he's also the eldest 🤣 He has a softer tone and a sexy voice. Ju-ne is the one with the raspy gangster voice. He has one of the most unique voice in kpop. Then you have your subvocals: Donghyuk (DK), the angelic voice, he is known in the group for his falsetto. Yunhyeong (Song) is the person usually in charge of the High notes then Chanwoo (Chan) he has that boy next door kinda voice that you will remember. I feel like you are right about DK being shy, maybe with iKON and iKONICS he isn't but when it comes to other ppl like in music show performances and year end award shows he is. But the confidence he's showing in this comeback is different this is probably the reason why ppl start noticing how amazing DK's voice is. And oh, this is already long but just wanted to say that before they were known to be amazing vocalists that they are, people thought that aside from their rapline, their only strength pre-debut was dancing coz their synchronicity and their westernized choreography, so they thought the less popular members at the time (not part of the rap-line) don't know how to sing 🥲 how wrong they were. iKON is known for their Legit Rap-Line. Bobby and B.I. even performed in an Award's show even before they've debut. That's why Bobby's charisma and stage presence is just up there. He was that good even before debut and B.I being a genius lyricist, composer, producer that is... Stage presence of these two is just... Powerful. You got Chan right :)), Ju-ne is the one with red hair, the one you said you liked the lower tone of, Jay is the one you also like the vocal of, the one who sings the chorus of Love Scenario. Song is the one with blonde/grayish hair. Honestly there's so much to react to with iKON, but definitely check out their title tracks. Some of the ones I really like are "Killing Me", "Dive", "Bling Bling", "B-DAY", "Airplane", "Apology", "Rhythm Ta". Most of their B-Sides have live stages, and iKON live stages are definitely something worth watching. My favorite live stages are Freedom, Cocktail, Only You and Just Go! I am so so happy that you are giving DK the attention that he deserves. iKON's vocals is sooooooo sooo good for real. Their charisma and aura on stage too is something to look forward to! My favorite title track before BUT YOU is KILLING ME. It's really good so I do recommend~ ❤️ Um honestly as an ikonic, Love Scenario isn't even in my top 10. Most of my favorites from iKON are their b-sides and most of them are ballad lol. Don't get me wrong Love Scenario is good, but if you go and ask ikonics what their fave song is, it isn't the first thing that comes to mind 😂 So you do know Bobby and DK, so i'm going to exclude them. - The other blonde one apart from DK and Bobby would be SONG (He's my bias 😍) - The one with a faded orange/red hair w/ a raspy low voice would be JUNE.
