Rings are very significant in iKON history. When they were still Team B battling in WIN, they have their black rings that signifies their brotherhood and loyalty (you can see them talked about it in an unreleased clip of WIN). Said rings can be seen in this episode if you will look closely on each of the members hands. They have upgraded it a few times, during their first debut anniversary, YG gifted them with the "iKON Rings". Each ring is designed with a slash from their iKON logo so that together it forms the said logo. iKON members can be seen wearing it at different times, most especially Donghyuk who has never taken it off since the time it was gifted to them. You can see DK's ring all the time in his ring finger.

@@hades8831 I'm only a "fan" of Bigbang so I'd say that agree with Jeny that YG Family Concert is not the same energy and "epicness" without those people. Of course if they were to make one now and (sadly) the 4 of Bigbang were to participate it would probably still be good.. but there's something about those early groups. I feel like you can't beat a YG Family concert with : Bigbang-Se7en-Psy-Epik High-2ne1- (winner if you want for the closest one). And many other artist that I can't remember right now that are old school. I don't know, like I said before I'm only for Bigbang so I don't really care but Blackpink seems way too westernized. I love Somi but she's not only young she's not IU to be like "wow", but she still has time and I since I love her I wish her the best. Akmu are really good but it's weird.. I don't see them being that type of groups that make you go "epicness", although I liked the ft "Missing you" :) Winner, Ikon, Treasure I don't know a lot about except for Minho, B.I ... and that's about it. I understand the "are they not good enough?" but I also understand "Not as cool as before". There's a type of mistyc with the older groups, and I guess sadness for things that we might never get again.

@@marxunderhill6737 That is the problem here, you think of it as a competition when honestly, all these artists/groups are unique in their own way. If you want to see a concert like the old one, it would not work but if you want to see a concert with talented artists/groups, it would be great. Westernized? I completely disagree, they still have that YG's vibe(especially because of Teddy), I honestly love them because it reminds me the most of Big Bang, it's the same with the members, I mean they are obviously different too but they have that something for me... Winner, Ikon and Treasure are great on stage too. In the end, we had a great generation, now we have another one and then another one... If you want to stick with the old groups, I get it but to say that a new concert wouldn't be as cool as before is kinda childish, I mean it's better to say "The new artists/groups are not my cup of tea" than that, the truth is that this concert will be epic/iconic for other people, they have fans too after all. And no offense but I personally think that you should at least know the artists/groups mentioned before saying an opinion, all these people are very talented too.

And his brother stepped down from the Director position too. Of course they can never cut all ties with YGE. That is his whole life work, man. What kinda heartless and frankly moron would sincerely think Yang Hyun Suk would and should let YGE go completely? That man is literally the founder, he is the one who actually built the company from the scratch two decades ago. The so called fans of YG groups just love droning on and on about how much their idols suffered to get where they are but somehow they all seem to think Yang Hyun Suk just built YGE already established in a single night with no hard work at all. If he is, he better hide it for as long as he could. because they don't fully understand the Kpop world. unlike these two where they have watched Bigbang's Beginning documentary and yes, those 2 new members are really like free-riders since they trained for such a short time while the others had gone through a survival show and trained for years. i believe that it's because of all the harsh training had built up a humble character of the Kpop idols. people who don't know about Kpop thinks that being a Kpop idols is soooo easy and after debuted, they were so loved by the public. bruh, the Kpop world is reallly competitive. there were sooo many scandals about the idols, maybe more than Korean actors.

Don't put much thought into the ring in why why why. Even before YGE gave iKON their group rings team b had their own rings and they looked nothing like this. Besides no matter what iKON have been through alot and before they're iKON they're a family.

I saw the other comments mentioned it, but still wanted to continue on repeating that Tokyo Dome is really a big deal. the most famous Dome in Korea is Gocheok Sky Dome, and I remember Tokyo Dome has 20k seats more than it. Tokyo Dome is also where Michael used to come and perform during his world tour (since the time Tokyo Dome was not even a "dome" yet. He also visited after it became a "dome"), so even the local musicians biggest dream is to get to perform here, since the place also conveys huge weight for it's music history meaning. (Because not all the world class artist will visit all the major Asian cities. Tokyo is usually the first sometimes even the only stop when they decided to come to Asia) And even till now, after two decades of "Korean boom" here in Japan, still only 12 Kpop groups and 2 KPOP solo artists got to have their solo concerts at Tokyo Dome. and only four of them are not from the second gen (*they are EXO, BTS, TWICE and BLACKPINK.) So family concerts are really great chances for the rookie artists, and I really hope YG can bring it back maybe next year when those events overall are allowed again. I wish Akmu and Treasure and also Chan! could have that same experience. Here's the lists of KPOP artists who made it to Toyo Dome BTW. 2009 TVXQ 2010 JYJ 2011 Jang Keun-suk 2012 BIGBANG *ALIVE TOUR 2013 KARA 2013 2PM 2013 Super Junior 2014 Girl’s Generation 2015 SHINee 2015 EXO (First third generation group.) 2017 G-Dragon *M.O.T.T.E TOUR 2018 BTS 2019 TWICE 2019 BLACKPINK (SEVENTEEN was supposed to have their Tokyo Dome debut in 2020 but the schedule got canceled due to the reason we all know. And I'm pretty damn sure that D-Lite will be the third Korean soloist to get on to Tokyo Dome. He already got Kyocera Dome(the same capacity). )
