Great interview! I see so much hate in the comments about the definition of “fittest”… sure, it’s by CrossFit Standards, but not many understand that this dude can do a full triathlon in the morning, do high skilled gymnastics in the afternoon, and then lift twice his body weight above his head in the evening. Sure, he’s not the best in the world at any of those things individually, but he’s the best at doing all those things against his peers also trying to be good at a multitude of skills.

basics of speaking to a guest: ask a question and let the man answer. This guy close to the camera 'slouching so bad his shoulders are busy rubbing agaisnt his knees' should be told not to interrupt. you can see mat sigh a couple of times there....

A lot of valuable information about how to become elite in anything not just CrossFit. The self talk, lifestyle changes, sacrifice, constant quest for better recovery and more efficient training. Having the “doing your homework” style workouts and then balls to the wall play to your strength and ego style workouts for confidence boosters and motivation and managing them also never staying comfortable and always working on a weakness. Man this is the stuff that you run across that drastically improves your training.
